 The 13th Annual Peoples Festival Tribute to Bob Marley will be held in Wilmington, Delaware on July 28th 2007. Heading its lineup will be Ky-Mani Marley, international Reggae artist, actor and son of the late Great Bob Marley.
Ky-Mani Marley has been igniting stages on the music scene in Europe, Africa, USA and numerous other countries! Kymani came to Wilmington in celebration of the 10th Annual Peoples' Festival in 2004 and is back to give an encore sure to satisfy the soul of all lovers of reggae music as only a Marley can.
The rest of the line-up will be just as hot! This Peoples' Festival will prove to live up to the standard that has been delivered by World Music, and La Paz, Inc. for the past 12 years! Our Live Children's Village, International Food Court, Artisans Alley, Beer Garden, Drumming Circle and our Bamboo Rain Hut will keep the Spirits alive throughout the festival grounds in Unity and One-Love.
A call to artist for participation in our contest for the official festival art, will be featured on official t-s, posters, flyers and the cover of our souvenir book! Winning Artist will be featured in Museums, library exhibits in Wilmington, and surrounding area and will also be awarded a cash certificate on stage at The Peoples Festival!
This year's festival will be subtitled: "Tell the Children the Truth" and will bring only the most positive message from stage, vendors and all other interactive areas.
