  London, England - American superstar Bill Frisell and his
band has joined forces with Malian master musician Djelimady Tounkara for a
stunning collaboration by two great guitarists of our time. Bill Frisell,
although classified a jazz musician, draws on an eclectic range of influences,
from rock to blues, country, African and Latin American musics, using his skills
as an improviser to make the most inspired musical associations.
Djelimady Tounkara. is the guitarist for the legendary Super Rail Band. He has also launched a solo career with a magnificent album, Sigui and
a BBC Radio 3 Award for World Music.
They tour to 28/2 Basingstoke, 29/2 London, 1/3 Birmingham, 3/3 Newcastle,
4/3 Leeds, 5/3 Cambridge, 6/3 Brighton and 7/3 Bristol.
