Japan - Discovery Music is going to release a new set of samples titled Spirits from Ainu on May 31st, 2004. The new library of sounds produced in Hokkaido contain the music and voices of Ms. Umeko Ando, who is a Mukkuri player represented Ainu musicians. It consists of her slow and meditative Upopo (songs) and the sounds of mukkuri (jew's harp) plus the sounds from one of Ainu representative traditional instruments Tonkori (stringed instrument).
