New CDs(Prensa Latina - Cumbancha) Havana, Cuba -  True greats in Cuban music, both past and present, appear on eight discs burned by EGREM Studio and presented on its 40th anniversary, along with special music stamps and a documentary, "The Treasure of the Island" by Ileana Garcia. Works by the Matamoros Trio, the National Ignacio Pineiro Septet, Maria Teresa Vera, Barbarito Diez and Abelardo Barroso are among the Cuban musical traditions preserved in the four decades of EGREM, Cuban Music Institute vice-president Jesus Gomez Cairo noted.

The presentation ceremony included cancellation of stamps with the images of Julio Cuevas, Orlando Guerra (Cascarita), Carlos Puebla and Francisco Repilado (Compay Segundo).
