(Beatwire) Howard Parker and his Hot Take-out Band will be recording live on Saturday night May 15,2004 at The Sarah Street Grill in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Parker, a New Jersey singer/songwriter, will be performing his own brand of American roots music, a spicy mixture of Zydeco, folk, blues and politics.

The Hot Take-out Band is made up of Parker on guitar, dobro and harmonica; and a duo of saucy session men. Milt Januse, a Union, New Jersey, native  plays klong yau, cajón, jembe and bass tambourine. Mark Hamza, of Marshalls Creek, Pennsylvania, plays a unique handmade Italian accordion with Perdominici reeds that sing in stereo and provides bass seemingly from nowhere.

The Sarah Street Grill is located at 550 Quaker Alley in Stroudsburg. For seating call the club at 570-424-9120.
