EventsHonduran World Music artist Guillermo Anderson and his band will play in Costa Ricas´ Festival Internacional de Las Artes on Nov.26. This year the festival is concentrating on artists from the Central American region, a region rarely represented in World Music festivals.

Enjoying a sudden wave of popularity in this Central American country, this is Guillermo'sthird visit this year. Sharing the festival'sstage will be Rómulo Castro and Tuira from Panama, The Central American All Star Orquesta de La Papaya, Luis Enrique Mejía Godoy from Nicaragua and special guest from Spain, Chano Domínguez.

Guillermo's music has been described as "a combination of Afro-Caribbean percussions with contemporary sounds, local rhythms, and folklore of Honduras' coastal regions."

While in Costa Rica Guillermo will be releasing a CD with some of his best work for Papaya Music, Costa Rica's leading independent World Music label.
