(Prensa Latina) Havana, Cuba - Recently returned from a successful Spain tour, Cuban popular singer David Blanco and his band will perform here on the occasion of the World AIDS Day, current year calling to protect women. Scheduled for December 1, the concert is organized by the National Sexual Education Center (CENESEX).

Other Cuban popular artists will join the show, as Patricio Amaro, the duo Karma and singer-songwriters Ariel Diaz and Carlos Fonseca. The campaign against the pandemic intends to create awareness in youths that sexual enjoyment is an act of supreme responsibility, Center Director Mariela Castro told Prensa Latina.

Inspired by the slogan "With Safe Steps, Women and Girls Prevent AIDS," the program includes a reading by poet Lina de Feria, and the screening of "Sexuality, a Right to Live" a documentary by filmmaker Lisset Vila. Blanco will release his song "Miénteme," a reflection on love in couples and sexually transmitted diseases.
