  Norway - Iver Kleive has a new album out
just in time for Christmas. Hyrdenes tilbedelse (Adoration of the Shepherds) is
this year's Christmas CD from Norwegian label Kirkelig kulturverksted (KKV).
The recording features Kleive on piano in a meditative
mood. KKV asked Kleive to spend two nights with the Steinway grand piano in
Jacob's Church using the altar piece as a source of inspiration and Christmas
songs for his musical journey. The result is Adoration of the Shepherds.
Some of the songs included are "Stille natt" (Silent
Night); "Deilig erjorden" (Beautiful Savior); "Det hev ei rosa sprunge" (A
Spotless Rose is Growing); "Et barn er fodt i Betlehem" (A Child is Bom in
Bethlehem); and "Mitt hjerte alltid vanker" (My Heart is always with Jesus).
