The Lost Album, Unreleased Acoustic CD by Salif Keïta
01/12/2005 10:52AM
Contributed by: ARomero

New CDsParis, France - An Icon of Malian music, Salif Keita is an accomplished artist whose international recognition testifies of his huge talent. In the first quarter of 2005, he will release, in France and in the UK, an unreleased acoustic album he recorded with Kante Manfila in 1980.

Through his many different musical experiences during his career, the highly talented artist succeeded in asserting himself in the musical world. The Lost Album proves the maturity of this out of the ordinary artist, combining a militant pacifist spirit and Pan-African convictions. Through this record, Salif brought African music to a brand new dimension. An international release of The Lost Album is planned for 2005.
