(Prensa Latina) Paris.- Bebo Valdes and Diego "El Cigala" currently present their successful
album Lagrimas Negras, one of the most important events in Spain's music
panorama recently, at the mythical hall Olympia, in Paris.
It was film director Fernando Trueba who had the idea of putting famous Cuban
pianist Bebo Valdés, 85, and Spanish flamenco singer "El Cigala", 35,
together to record an all-time classic album and recreate songs such as "Lagrimas Negras", "Corazon Loco", "Se me olvidó que te olvidé" or "La bien
pagá".
Almost two years after its release, Lagrimas Negras continues topping lists, with almost 700.000 copies sold all over the world, 300.000 in Spain.
