Ugandan World Fusion Artist Kaz Kasozi Releases New Album
03/05/2005 11:04AM
Contributed by: Anonymous

New CDsLondon, England - UK based Ugandan world fusion artist Kaz Kasozi, recently released his long awaited new album Naked and Blue through the independent label Madhead Kitchen.

The album was recorded and mixed back in 2000 and 2001 but the release was delayed by other projects. It includes songs sang in Luganda (a Ugandan language) and English, and crosses styles from funk & soul to afro-ethnic sounds. This genre defying work covers a wide scope in musical styles while maintaining a unified sound.

The whole album was produced using real instruments with minimal processing to cultivate an organic sound. Kaz's skills as a multi-instrumentalist weave a rich sound canvas, creating a true world fusion work; he plays 11 musical instruments on this record. The self produced album was recorded & mixed at Global Fusion Studios, London with additional mixing at Cherry's Den, London and mastered at West Street Studios, Buckingham.

Naked and Blue is available on line from www.madheadkitchen.com, www.cdbaby.com and www.towerrecords.com. It is also stocked in selected world music stores around the UK. For more information contact mail@kazkasozi.com or visit: www.kasozi.com.
