Afrobeat Ensemble, will be playing at The Capitol Theater in Olympia,
Washington. The group includes former members of Albino!, Spearhead,
Fela
Kuti, and Sonny Okosun. The event will take place Friday, March 18th. Doors
open at 8pm. Music begins at 9pm. Ticket prices are$10 Advance & OFS members/

Led by Nigerian born Geoffrey Omadhebo and Friday Jumbo, Fulanis is a 12- piece all-star afrobeat ensemble that honors the fiery musical legacy of legendary afrobeat inventor Fela Kuti. But they do so while bringing their own broad personality to the table, drawing upon the rich amalgam of its member's varied musical backgrounds to make their powerful rhythm-steeped point. In the short period of time that has transpired since the group's inception, World-beat & Jamband lovers alike have latched onto the primary ingredient behind this band's truly broad appeal.
