 Dubai, UAE - A new musical institute opened its doors at Dubai Knowledge
Village (KV). The Music Institute (TMI) is the first of its kind in KV and it
aims to provide musical instruction to students of all levels, ages and
backgrounds.
The Music Institute's courses include Music Theory, voice, piano, guitar,
violin, drums, saxophone, flute, clarinet, etc. Classes are conducted
one-on-one or in small groups of 2-3 students.
Whether students want to play music just for the fun of it or plan to embark
on a music education of international standing. THE Music Institute offers
course plans to fit their specific needs, said Raed Abu-Hijleh, managing
partner of TMI.
Students can be prepared to pass the tests for the different grades of
international schools such as Trinity College and Associated Board of the Royal
Schools of Music. The testing and grade certification is conducted in Dubai
twice a year, said Shirley Aldana, administration manager in TMI.
The absolute beginner is welcomed in TMI and can feel at ease, knowing that
he or she will not be overwhelmed while learning at their own speed and ability.
Intermediate and advanced players will also find educators equal to the task of
guiding them through more sophisticated musical instruction, said Hussein
Al-Zeer, managing partner of TMI.
Dubai Knowledge Village is a vibrant, connected learning community. It provides
