The Independence Suite (Celtic Crossings CC2004, 2004)

Most recent Celtic music compilations focus on the contemporary artists. The Independence Suite takes a look at the outstanding artists who perform traditional music from Ireland, Scotland and Cape Breton (Canada). The producer, Cecilia McDonnell investigates the connections between Irish and Scottish music as well as the music developed by the Celtic Diaspora in North America.
