Germany - Tango-the original(s), volume 1 (DYM) brings together 20 landmark tango recordings, ranging from early electrical Victor recordings to recordings from the very end of the 78rpm era. All tracks have been digitally remastered and restored from archival pressings using CEDAR audio restoration software and modules, allowing these classic recordings to be heard at the highest level of sonic fidelity possible.

Included in the CD digipack is the short story “Marie’s Knife," Katrin Dorn’s atmospheric thriller about a German tango dancer in Buenos Aires who finds herself drawn into an erotically intense partnership with an Argentinean dancer.
