Hydra & Emphasis Records on XM Radio June 20, 2005

General NewsAtlanta (Georgia), USA - The legendary Southern rock band Hydra (formerly on the Capricorn and Polydor labels), is scheduled to be featured on XM Radio's "Fresh Tracks" show hosted by Earle Bailey, Monday, June 20, 2005, at 9:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. This will be a XM Radio exclusive airing. Featured tracks will include "Keep You Around" and "Rattlesnake Shake" from the new upcoming Hydra release on Emphasis Records, a label division of Atlanta Music Group, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

The band consists of original members: Wayne Bruce-Guitar/Vocals, Spencer Kirkpatrick-Guitar, Steve Pace-Drums, and Tommy Vickery, the new bassist/background vocalist for the band, replacing Orville Davis.

Emphasis Records will soon be initiating full press, marketing and promotion campaigns for the new Hydra release produced by Steven Hawkins, due out in September 2005.
