Sandra Luna Wins Top Argentine Music Award

Buenos Aires, Argentina - Tango singer Sandra Luna, nominated for a Grammy & Los Premios de Gardel in 2004, has won one of most prestigious awards in Argentina: Premio Konex.

This award is given once every 10 years in Argentina and honors those who had a mayor effect within the Popular Music in Argentina in the years 1995-2004.

Sandra received the Award in the Category: Cantante Femenina de Tango (Female Tango Singer).

Mercedes Sosa is the honorable President of the Konex foundation.
