San Francisco (California), USA - Malian musician Issa Bagayogo will be touring the United States and Canada this summer. Bagayogo's latest album, Tassoumakan (meaning "Voice of Fire"), came out on Six Degrees Records. For this project he worked with French producer/keyboardist Yves Wernert.

Issa Bagayogo’s recordings are made in Bamako, Mali's capital city, rather than in Europe or North America. His music is an organic mix of West African and Western pop.
