Fado Star Ana Moura and Alkinoos Ioannidis in a Double Bill in Chicago

Chicago (Illinois), USA – Fado star Ana Moura (Portugal) and Alkinoos Ioannidis (Cyprus /Greece) perform Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. Both double-bill concerts are for ages 18 and over, and tickets for both are $15 through Ticketmaster, 312-559-1212 or www.ticketmaster.com and Park West, 773-929-1322.

The September 21 concerts at the Park West are part of the 7th Annual World Music Festival: Chicago 2005 featuring the best in international music, Sept. 16 - 22. Organized by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, the weeklong World Music Festival showcases both traditional and contemporary music from many of the world's diverse cultures. Festival events include a mix of free and ticketed concerts, live radio broadcasts and educational workshops presented in museums, parks, cultural centers, plazas, theaters, bookstores, clubs and other venues throughout Chicago.
