Golem Makes Chicago Debut as It Bridges Rock and Klezmer

General NewsChicago (Illinois), USA – New York-based Klezmer rock band Golem makes its Chicago debut Sunday, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. in an admission-free concert at the Clarke House Museum, 1827 S. Indiana Ave., Chicago's oldest home and a registered National Historic Landmark. The concert is part of World Music Festival: Chicago 2005.

Golem performs as part of the 7th Annual World Music Festival: Chicago 2005 featuring the best in international music, Sept. 16 - 22. Organized by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, the weeklong World Music Festival showcases both traditional and contemporary music from many of the world's diverse cultures. Festival events include a mix of free and ticketed concerts, live radio broadcasts and educational workshops presented in museums, parks, cultural centers, plazas, theaters, bookstores, clubs and other venues throughout Chicago.
