VSA arts International Young Soloists Award

AwardsWashington, D.C. , USA - VSA Arts has announced details about this year's edition of the Young Soloists Award. Rock musicians, virtuosos & divas, jazz bands and musicians of all styles are encouraged to apply. If you are 25 years old and under and have a disability, you are eligible to apply for this annual international music award.

Two recipients from throughout the world will each receive $5,000 and will perform at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. For guidelines and an application, go to www.vsarts.org and click on “Young Soloists Award”; call 202-628-2800; or Email info@vsarts.org. Deadline: December 1, 2005.

VSA Arts is an international nonprofit organization founded in 1974 by Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith. VSA Arts is creating a society where people with disabilities can learn through, participate in, and enjoy the arts. Currently five million people participate in VSA arts programs every year through a network of affiliates nationwide and in over 60 countries.
