DeltaAid: Hurricane Relief Concert will be held
Tuesday, September 27, at 7 p.m. at the
Arts Center in
Carrboro (North Carolina). Barefoot Manner, Malian kora svengali
Mamadou Diabate, Mosaid Music, Alex Weiss & Different Drum and many others join together for a crucial cause.
These musicians are donating their time and talent for free, so that 100% of
gross ticket sales will go to ACORN's Hurricane Recovery and Rebuilding Fund
(Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). This New
Orleans-based non-profit is working to rebuild and serve low and moderate
income communities. Audience members will be able to give additional
donations during the show (cash or check). $7, $6 ArtsCenter
Friends.
