Randy Wood Receives Indian Summer Music Award

Phoenix (Arizona), USA - Randy Wood, of the Cree Nation, received his first Indian Summer Music Award for Best Traditional Vocal Album for his recording, There Are No Goodbyes.

Randy Wood received a Grammy nomination for Best Native American Album for his recording Round Dance the Night Away, at the 2003 Grammy Awards. Originally from Saddle Lake First Nation, Alberta (Canada), Wood is recognized throughout North America for his singing and songmaking talents.

The 2nd Annual Indian Summer Music Awards were presented at the Indian Summer Festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the winners were announced on Saturday, September 10th, 2005.
