  The bachata documentary Santo Domingo Blues, directed by
Alex Wolfe, is in its second smash week in New York City cinemas. The film
will premiere in Paris in a one time screening, together with a live performance
by bachatero Yoan ”El Duque” Soriano and his band.
El Duque’s European debut will introduce the savage guitar styling and
hypnotic vocals he displays on his new album
Afrobachata (Batey Records) to the continent.
The debut will take place on Tuesday, October 25 at 3, rue de Lisbonne 75 in
