[image1_left]After so many “struggles” to get a producer, Atom Godson, a new gospel music sensation can now heave a sign of relief. His first album titled Name Bye, with 13 tracks, is finally out. The album contains soul inspiring songs that will surely lift high the spirits of any listener. Consequently, the album will be launched next Saturday, December 10 at the Resurrection Power and Living Bread Ministry, behind the Kotobabi Police Station at 1pm. Supporting Atom at the launch of his album will be Noble Nketsia, Christina Love, Kwabena Asante, Georgia Adjei, O.J. and others.

According to Atom, the title of the album Name Bye (meaning God will do it) is a reflection of how he struggled and finally God opened a way for him to get his album out. “I am telling people that whatever their needs, their problems, it is God who will do it for them. It is by the grace of God that I am where I am now. We cannot do it by our own strength. We need God’s help,” he said in an interview.

Most of the songs of the album are a reflection of how grateful Atom is to God. The songs are mixture of praises, worship, R & B and ragga beats. Atom said he developed the talent of singing as a young boy because his father, Kojo Krampah used to sing with a traditional group and he was a trumpeter as well. He recalled that he became friends with Felix Owusu and Doris Kote, who advised him to develop his talent in singing. Atom later formed a dancing group which performed at various places during occasions.

After recording his demo, he did not get any producer, so Atom said he enrolled at the Word of Faith Bible School in 2000. After this, he formed Freedom Fellowship and they organized crusades in various parts of the country between 2003 and 2004.
