Toninho Horta & Nicola Stilo - Duets (Adventure Music AM1020 2, 2005)

Trio Da Paz - Somewhere (Blue Toucan Music BTM05, 2005)

Orquesta de Violoes de Brasilia - A Moda Brasileira (independent, 2005)

Duets brings together a virtuoso guitarist from Brazil, Toninho Horta, and a flute maestro from Italy. Duets is an elegant set of jazz standards and original compositions by Horta and Stilo. The enchanting music is primarily instrumental, with intimate vocals by Horta, combining jazz, bossa nova and new acoustic music.

Brazil is a land of abundant guitar instrumentalists. Trio Da Paz includes acoustic guitarist Romero Lubambo, together with acoustic bassist Nilson Matta and Duduka Da Fonseca on drums. Somewhere is a collection of instrumental jazz pieces, which allow for masterful improvisational passages by all three musicians, together with more melodic bossa nova pieces.

Orquesta de Violoes de Brasilia is a group of Brazilian guitarists that got together in Brasilia to record compositions by Brazilian classical and jazz authors. As the name of the ensemble implies, it is an orchestra of guitarists. Only guitars were used in A Moda Brasileira.
