EventsChicago (Illinois), USA - Tango ensemble Five 4 Tango featuring Fareed Haque will be performing Friday, March 3 at 9:00pm in Chicago's HotHouse. Tickets are $12 in Advance, $15 at the door, HotHouse Members Free (21 & Over).

Five 4 Tango is a Spanish Tango quintet specializing in the music of Argentinean composer, Astor Piazzolla. Formed in 2003 by violinist, Joseph Colome, the group is comprised of Miguel A. Maestro, accordionist; Robert Tevar, pianist; Charles Rambla, bassist; Marc Torrent, guitarist; and Joseph Colome on violin.

Once formed, the group immediately became a unique musical group with an exciting and distinctly Argentinean style and sound. Five 4 Tango creates an intimate and seductive musical atmosphere, encouraging the audience to feel free to experience their own private emotions through Piazzolla's music.

Northern Illinois professor, Fareed Haque, is a guitar virtuoso who moves easily between jazz and classical guitar, spanning the spectrum of musical styles. Born to a Pakistani father and a Chilean mother, Haque became an extensive traveler at an early age including long stays in Spain, France, Iran, Pakistan and Chile. This exposure to many different musical styles allowed him to develop a natural eclecticism that has become the hallmark of Haque's music.

HotHouse is located at 31 East Balbo Chicago, IL 60605. Phone: (312) 362.9707, Fax: (312) 362.9708.
