Philadelphia (Pennsylvania), USA - Blending hip-hop, dancehall, Reggaetón, and Caribbean roots, up-and-coming artist Kulcha Don has released his debut album for RuffNation Music, It's All About You. Set for release on March 21st, the album’s first single, “Drive You Crazy” featuring Beenie Man is currently already getting spins on New York’s Hot 97 “On Da Reggae Tip” with Bobby Konders and Jabba.

It's All About You has crossover sound. Kulchan Don intends to bring reggae music to the masses with his passion for evolutionary island music and hardcore dancehall reggae beats.

Chairman and CEO of Ruff Nation, Chris Schwartz, a pioneer in the hip-hop music industry who has achieved success and fame with groups like Cypress Hill, The Fugees, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and NAS, is the executive producer on It’s All About You. He said of the album “An artist like Kulcha Don has the entire package. He has the power to redefine reggae music by taking his tracks to the forefront…It is not only island music, it is music that the world can enjoy.”

It’s going to be a successful song and a successful album” added Beenie Man, who appears on Kulcha Don’s first single “Drive You Crazy.”

Since moving from the Caribbean to New York at age 18, Kulcha has been hard at work at interweaving cultures. Already a skilled performer upon arrival, Kulcha’s hard work and perseverance quickly paid off and he began performing and recording with fellow reggae and hip-hop heavy hitters such as: Tupac, Shaggy, Notorious B.I.G, Mad Lion, Salt ‘n’ Pepa, C&C Music Factory, Spragga Benz and The Fugees.

It's All About You features tracks like “I Wonder” sampling Del Shannon’s famous ‘50s smash ”Runaway” turning it into a light dancehall rhythm, chopping up the memorable “I wo-wo-wo-wonder why she ran away” into his own troubadour quest. “Papi Duro” is straight up barrio Reggaetón with the Kulcha twist, while a sound system dancehall characterizes “Nuff Gal” and “Tonight.”
