Ojos de Brujo is a flamenco roots band based in Barcelona, Spain. The band
caused a stir in international music circles in 2003-2004 with its mesmerizing
hip hop flamenco. The group, whose name means “eyes of the wizard,” creates
musical magic with its irresistible sound that blends flamenco with hip-hop,
funk, samba, reggae and other world musics. One of Spain’s most popular live
musical acts, the group is composed of musicians on flamenco guitar, bass, and
percussion; a DJ, and a dancer, and features the compelling lead vocals of
Marina Abad.
