On a new Remixed EP that is available exclusively in digital format, the
Persian electronic music by Six Degrees Records' recording artist Niyaz stretches to new dance floor heights.
Two of the most popular tracks from
the group's self-titled debut CD,
Niyaz, "Dilruba" and "AIlahi Allah," were re-worked
for the digital EP by Netherlands' superstar producer and DJ Junkie XL, UK based
Paul Oakenfold collaborator, Andy Gray, New Delhi labelmates MIDIval PunditZ and
Niyaz1 electronics whiz Carmen Rizzo, who has produced albums for everyone from
Seal to Alanis Morisette. Niyaz's music provided the perfect source material for
thumping dance floor remixes.
