Among the most popular world music artists today, Amadou & Mariam have a chart-topping CD produced by Manu Chao and a 2006 Grammy nomination. The blind couple from Mali make their Florida debut with this concert, en route to the Coachella Festival in California with a 7 piece African band. Malian blues are the starting point for the group which features Mariam's gorgeous voice, Amadou's guitar, groove-filled tunes cowritten with Manu Chao and much more.
