A celebration of the Music of Shaun Davey concert to launch new Shaun Davey album

General NewsDublin, Ireland - On Fri 23rd June 2006 at 8:00pm the RTE National Symphony Orchestra conducted by David Brophy and uilleann pipes soloist Liam O'Flynn, along with a galaxy of stars of the Irish music scene will perform A Celebration of the Music of Shaun Davey, one of Ireland's leading professional composers.

The Concert will feature the atmospheric and deeply moving The Brendan Voyage as well as the memorable music of the 2003 World Special Olympics Opening Ceremony which will feature on Shaun's forthcoming new album provisionally titled 'Shaun Davey; May We Never Have To Say Goodbye' Music of Celebration for Celtic traditional soloists, choir, pipeband, percussion, and orchestra.
