New Releases

Phoenix(Arizona), USA - Emery -Pow-Wow Songs Recorded Live at the Indian Summer, features award winning pow-wow group, Tha Tribe, bringing together noted singers from many tribal groups and singing in multiple languages.

Combining stunning style and a firm commitment to traditions, Tha Tribe have shared their songs and their drum with pow-wow people all across North America. On this "live" recording they gather around the drum and deliver 17 stupendous songs in a tribute to the memory of a late friend and singer, Emery "Jay" Pewaush.

The pow-wow scene of today is a world in which traditional and modern exist side by side: where hip-hop style and the beat of the grass dance meet. Direct from the pow-wow trial, these championship singers bridge two disparate worlds like no other pow-wow group can.
