Bjonko Ensemble Releases Album with Support from UNESCO

New CDs

Denmark - Bjonko Ensemble, based in Copenhagen has released a CD with the patronage of UNESCO and The Danish National Commission for UNESCO.

Se od Koren Korneshe (The Cherrytree Is Pulled from Its Roots) celebrates and honors Macedonian and Balkan wedding music. It is made in favor of peace and prosperity in the former Yugoslavia and on the Balkans.



Profits made from the compact disc will be delivered to a project defined jointly between UNESCO and Bjonko, or as an already existing UNESCO activity, which supports the purpose, of peace and prosperity.
