San Francisco (California), USA - Rhythm of the River (TUGCD1045) showcases a range of musical gems from World Music Network's artist label Riverboat Records. Artists include – Sierra Maestra, Benjamin Escoriza, Guéyanka with Sally Nyolo, Mory Kanté, Alir Pukai String Band with Bob Brozman, Nuru Kane, David Darling & The Wulu Bunun, Shukar Collective, Takashi Hirayasu & Bob Brozman, Debashish Bhattacharya, René Lacaille, Mabulu, Abdel Gadir Salim with Emmanuel Jal, Javier Ruibal, Etran Finatawa, Daby Balde, Bela Lakatos & The Gypsy Youth Project.

Formed in 1989, Riverboat Records is a pioneering world music label, home to many leading artists including Guinean legend Mory Kanté – the first African artist to sell a million singles, Cuba's leading son band Sierra Maestra and Calcutta's sublime Debashish Bhattacharya. Recent signings include renowned Cameroonian artist Sally Nyolo as well as Benjamin Escoriza - the unforgettable voice of Radio Tarifa.
