12/27/2006 01:04AM
Contributed by: WMC_News_Dept.

New ReleasesPhoenix (Arizona), USA - Randy Wood released his fifth solo album for Canyon with My Heart and Soul. Infused with the spirit of his Plains Cree heritage and propelled by the world beat rhythms of multi-GRAMMY nominee Will Clipman, Wood songs are a unique version of Cree round dance music. His songs for solo voice speak of the eternal yearning for love. the beauty of life, and the honor of his people.

Originally from the Saddle Lake First Nation in Alberta, Canada, Wood now makes his home in the United States, and is a respected pow-wow singer and grass dancer. He has received GRAMMY nominations for Round Dance the Night Away in 2002, and Our Love Will Never Die in 2005 which was also Best Traditional Album at the Native American Music Awards.

Buy My Heart and Soul.
