Memphis (Tennessee), USA - One of the historical cradles of blues, Memphis will present 157 blues acts from around the world compete for cash, prizes, and industry recognition. The Blues Foundation will host the 23rd International Blues Challenge during February 1-3, 2007. The world's largest gathering of blues acts represents an international search by The Blues Foundation and its Affiliated Organizations for the Blues Band and Solo/Duo Blues Act ready to perform on a national stage, but just need that extra break.
