Nashville,(Tennessee), USA - On April 24, 2007, Compass Records will release Are You Lookin' At Me?, Colin Hay's first collection of new solo material in six years. "I've been working on my latest offering, Are You Lookin' At Me? on and off for the last couple of years, and I'm not sick of it. It's warm and fuzzy."

Recorded and produced by Hay and featuring a cast of handpicked players, including Hay's wife and leader of the salsoul band The Wild Clams on backup vocals, Cecilia Noël, Are You Lookin' At Me? presents the human emotional spectrum in eleven original songs. The urban influenced title track is an autobiographical and introspective look at Hay's cultural and musical influences, his move as an adolescent from Scotland to Australia and his career as the front man and principal songwriter for 80's hit machine, Men At Work.

Other highlights include "Up In Smoke", an acoustic ballad about a soldier never to return and "Lose To Win", because as Hay says, "...it's got both a trombone solo and kazoo....I mean c'mon, need I say more? I think not."

Since the release of Man at Work, Hay has been involved in a number of high profile projects that have earned him a new generation of devoted fans. Hay appeared in a 2002 episode of Scrubs as a figment of lead character J.D.'s imagination, strumming an acoustic guitar and singing "Overkill". Tunes by Hay have since been used for several episodes of the NBC groundbreaking comedy including a Broadway cast company style performance of "Waitin' For My Real Life Begin".

Ringo Starr called upon Hay to perform and tour with Ringo and the All-Starrs in the summer of 2003. Hay combined his life stories, most beloved songs ("Down Under, "Who Can It Be Now?") and devilish wit in 2004 to create a one-man theatrical experience entitled Man At Work. The show debuted to a week long packed out run at NYC's Village Theatre and was followed with performances at the Montreal Comedy Festival, the Aspen Comedy Festival and a month long residency at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

John Mayer proclaimed that Hay's anthem for the broken hearted, "I Just Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You", from the 2005 GRAMMY Award winning platinum selling soundtrack Garden State, "was without a doubt my favorite song of the year."

ABC's What About Brian featured acoustic versions of Hay's songs in the closing credits of three back to back episodes in the fall of 2006.

Compass Records will launch Are You Lookin' At Me? in April 2007 with a US tour sponsored by VH1 Classic kicking off with release parties at Largo (LA) and the Canal Room (NYC).
