1st Annual Writing Competition for Young Blues Artists

Greenville (Mississippi), USA - In an effort to introduce more young artists to the Blues, Mississippi Action for Community Education (MACE) organizers of the Mississippi Delta Blues & Heritage Festival proudly announces, the 1st Annual Writing Competition for Young Blues Artists.

Winner(s) of the competition shall receive a $300 cash prize plus, have their winning song performed by a legendary Blues band, at the 30th Mississippi Delta Blues & Heritage Festival and during "Blues Week" September 10-15, 2007.

Official Rules:

All entries may be submitted on 8 x 11" plain paper, tape cassette, CD, or DVD
All contestants must be 25 years old or younger
Contestants under 18 must have parents written permission to participate

All official entry forms may be picked up and delivered to:
