Marcio Faraco Is Back with His Fourth Studio Album Invento

New Releases

Paris, France - Born in a small town in the South of Brazil, Marcio Faraco has flirted since childhood with the different cultures of his vast country, due to his dad’s mobile profession. Thanks to his constant traveling, he has assimilated at a very young age many forms of traditional music such as samba, choro and baião.

After years of work and a signature with Universal Jazz, the result is three respected albums: the intimate Ciranda (2000), the minimalist Interior (2002), the very traditional Com Tradição (2005) and soon, his latest creation, Invento (Chant du Monde).

Apparently very new for Marcio’s style, Invento is solely composed of vocals, guitar and percussion, giving a very pure and simple effect to his personal compositions. The album will be released from May to June in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Canada, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, the UK and Japan.

He will also proceed to some interesting promotion showcases in Portugal, Switzerland and Spain, including some concerts the 16th of April in Tunisia and the 23rd and 24th of May in Lisbon.
