New York (NY), USA - It’s Conga Madness Week at the Blue Note at the end of April, featuring three of the greatest conga players in the world. The week will start with Cuban conguero Francisco Aguabella on Tuesday night, whom Dizzy Gillespie once called “The John Coltrane of the Conga drums,” featuring Patato Valdes, Nick Marrero, and Edmar Castaneda.

The week continues with Cándido Camero’s 86th Birthday celebration on Wednesday with some very special guests. From Thursday to Sunday, Poncho Sánchez and his all-star band will take over the stage to wrap up what is sure to be an exciting, spectacular run of concerts.
