Scottish Celtic Sensation Bodega Tours the United States

Tour Announcements

Glasgow, Scotland - One of the hottest Scottish bands will be touring the United States in September. Bodega are Gillian Chalmers from Fraserburgh on pipes, whistle and fiddle; Ross Couper from Shetland on fiddle; Tia Files from Oban on guitar, bass guitar and percussion; Norrie MacIver from Isle of Lewis on lead vocals, accordion and guitar; and June Naylor from Isle of Skye on clarsach (harp). All musicians are graduates of The National Centre of Excellence for Traditional Music, Plockton, Ross-shire, Scotland and previous winners of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award.

The band's debut album is the self titled Bodega on Greentrax ( CDTRAX295).
