Mukele

Ubuntu (Suramusic, 2007)

Argentine world beat musician Mukele crosses boundaries with a blend of powerful funk, soulful R&B vocals, jazz grooves, striking Brazilian candomblé, scorching Afro-Latin percussion and the ubiquitous dj scratching.

Mukele is the artistic name of an Argentine guitarist who spent some time in the United States and later in Brazil, where he fell in love with its African rooted rhythms.

Mukele's lyrics are in Portuguese, English and Spanish, creating a trans global environment. Mukele's music is on the cutting edge of creating a tasty musical stew.
