Ojos de Brujo

Techarí Live  (Six Degrees, 2007)

Those who have not had the privilege of watching Ojos de Brujo live can now experience the scorching environment in the double set, CD & DVD, titled  Ojos de Brujo Techarí Live. The live performance took place December 2006 in Barcelona, Spain.

The CD contains most of the band's hits, including high energy rumbas, and an occasional tanguillo, combined with hip hop beats, and world rhythms. There are also two fiery versions  of Bob Marley's "Get Up, Stand Up", a live version and a studio version, both of which have been transformed into a salsa meets Flamenco rumba piece.

Ojos de Brujo had numerous guests for this performance including the charismatic Spanish singer Martirio, musicians from Son de la Frontera's Raúl Rodríguez, Daara J's Faada Freddy, Cuban pianist Roberto Carcassés, Indian percussionist Gyan Singh, Flamenco dancers and the Patriarcas de la Rumba (Catalan rumba elders) for the grand finale.

The DVD contains live footage, a documentary, a video diary, and several music videos.
