Mount Vernon (Washington), USA - A new radio show, Global Heartthrob hits the airwaves of KSVR, 91.7 FM. Hosted by journalist and musician Patricia Herlevi, this two hour thematic show features classical, Early Music, jazz, blues, folkloric, indigenous, traditional, and sacred music from around the world.
 
 Similar to Cranky Crow Whole Music web site and The Whole Music Experience blog, Global Heartthrob also raises consciousness through powerful music that hails from musicians that promote community building, and healing of the mind-body-soul-planet. These musicians also preserve cultures, languages, and traditions ranging from indigenous to European and beyond.

Airing and streaming Tuesday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. standard pacific time, GTT features a variety of themes such as the upcoming, Soul Sisters (Women Musicians of the African Diaspora), Drums & Spirit, Troubadours and Griot along with other enticing topics. A special on Native American flute will air on December 25th and on January 1st, 2008, to bring in peaceful new year.
