General NewsVienna, Austria - A new series of field Recordings from the Phonogrammarchiv of the Austrian Academy of Sciences was launched this month.

Vol. 1 is dedicated to recent field work by Isaak Loberan, the Vienna-based Klezmer musician and researcher: Frelik, Sher un Khusidl ...Brass Bands from Podolia, Klezmer and other Jewish Music (Extraplatte, EX-PHA 001, 2007).
