Musician, Composer, Arranger Murat Aydemir was born in 1971 in Hannover, Germany. As a student of tanbur, he graduated from the Turkish State Conservatory in Istanbul in 1992. Among the young generation of Turkish musicians, he is widely regarded as the inheritor of the tradition of Tanburi Cemil Bey (1871-1916), master of the traditional tanbur style.

In 1989, during his conservatory years, he was invited to become a member of the Istanbul National Classical Turkish Music Ensemble and Choir. He has been with this ensemble since. As an outstanding guest musician, he has been invited many times by various festivals, universities, radio and television channels, and various other musical ensembles.

Ahenk "Harmony", collaboration with Derya Türkan, was released in the United States, Canada and Turkey in 1999.

He is a co-founder of Incesaz.
