Way up in northern California, Mendocino County to be exact, we have several salsa bands: Mambo This - a 10 piece band plays salsa and jazz regularly at the Caspar Community Center. Michael Hubbert, Paul Schulman, David Lipkind, Carl Schoen, Jim Dooley, Ted Kidwell, Richie Rosenbaum, and Dan Albrecht. Pura Vida - Some Salsa, some son. Featuring Amunka Dávila and Jorge Gómez, and four or five other musicians. Radio Mendocino is the home of one of the best musical instrument catalogs in the United States.
